Trabajo y crisis ecológica
el dilema ecomodernista en el(los) marxismo(s) occidental(es)
Resumen
Este artículo ofrece una crítica intelectual de la ecología política marxista desarrollada en Europa Occidental entre 1970 y 2000, centrándose en la relación trabajo/ecología. Mi crítica se basa en la intersección de dos niveles de análisis: (1) la evolución histórica del ecologismo obrero, centrándose en lo que llamaré el dilema ecomodernista del trabajo; (2) la importancia de la política de clase en relación con la política del medio ambiente, con especial atención a la dialéctica entre producción/reproducción. Centrándose en la obra de cuatro intelectuales marxistas cuyas ideas resuenan en diversos movimientos sociales de todo el espectro de la izquierda (obrero, ecologista, feminista y decrecimiento), el artículo muestra cómo el actual enredo del trabajo dentro de la política de la ecomodernización oculta una serie de fracturas internas y visiones alternativas de la ecología que es necesario escudriñar para abrir el terreno a un replanteamiento de la política ecológica actual en términos de clase.
