About the Journal
The Labor and Human Development Law Journal - Legal Review from the Labour Prosecution Office from the 15th Region is a periodic publication that prioritizes the social phenomenon of labor, understood as an element of human development. The Journal is dedicated to publishing interdisciplinary, theoretical or empirical studies concerning legal norms and their application in society. It seeks to promote rigorous reflections that can contribute to the reduction of material inequalities, with guaranteed access for the entire population to a good standard of living and to the observance of their basic rights, without discrimination by gender, race, age or sexual orientation.
The published articles observe of the following premises:
- Concern with ethical principles and respect for human dignity in labor relations;
- Recognition of the asymmetry in labor relations, to the disadvantage of the holder of the labor force;
- Attention to the scientific foundations related to Human Rights, Labor Law and Labor Procedure Law and related areas of knowledge;
- Interlocution between theory and practice, qualitative and quantitative research, reality and knowledge, with a view to reducing social inequalities.
Within its editorial premises and guidelines, the Labour and Human Development Law Journal is interested in legal reflections and reflections from related areas of knowledge that are of local, regional, national and international origin and scope.
The Labor and Human Development Law Journal accepts, in a continuous flow, submissions of articles, critical reviews and unprecedented jurisprudential comments and adopts the rolling pass publication modality, in which texts are immediately published as they obtain approval. Articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, French and German are accepted. Unpublished articles will be published in their original language. Articles originally published in another country, in a language other than Portuguese and unpublished in Brazil, are also accepted for submission with a view to translation into Portuguese.
